I woke up this morning and I felt much better than yesterday. Still not in the mood for eating but I wasn’t leaking as much any more. So we packed our bags and drove from Samarkand to Tashkent. Another long drive. We arrived at our guest house in the evening and I was set to eat a soup. Success! In order not to spoil the re-gained power I decided to keep it low and let my stomach recover. So I had a low-alcohol lemon cocktail made by the Uzbeki outlet of Carlsberg.
Be Cool, a philosophy and a drink. It came in a green bottle with a “hip” new design. The smell was similar to a beer mixed with lemonade. And the taste was similar as well. Quite fizzy lemon with a hint of malt. Apparently Carlsberg created this drink to help Uzbeki girls to be able to drink without getting fat (the drink is low calorie). Reading online that it has about 1.5-2% alcohol meaning that it’s not a good drink to get tipsy but a good drink for my stomach to get better without missing a drink.
Little did I know this evening but it was my 100th drink. If I would have known that, I would have chosen something else.
