For now our last day in Bishkek. And since we haven’t done it before, we went sightseeing. The Victory Square, the parliament and the awesome State Museum. Bishkek is a nice city, definitely the nicest city we hit since quite a while. It’s reasonably priced, you find food stalls everywhere, you have decent cafes and interesting bars. It was exactly what we needed but after almost two weeks, it’s time to say goodbye. My last drink in the city is rather non spectacular though.
I bought a cheap 1-liter plastic bottle of Toros lager. It had a dark amber look and a small creamy head. It smelled sweet and very malty with a note of metal in it. The taste was very malty and more flavorful than other lagers I had here. It had 4.5% and was easy to drink. An average beer but cheap.
