After two months of travelling in colder parts of the world and witnessing a low of -12˚C one day in China we were ready to feel warm again. We took a plane to Bangkok and weren’t disappointed. Our plane landed at 10pm and it was still way over 20°C. Needless to say, we were happy. We spent our first day in Bangkok just relaxing, enjoying the warm weather and catching up with our friend Meg who came over from London to visit us on the road. The day ended with street food and a girly wine mixer.
I bought a bottle of Full Moon Red Fruit Wine. The 0.33cl bottle was filled with a light red almost brownish content that didn’t look too appealing. The smell was sweet with a berry note to it, almost like a purple Hubba Bubba chewing gum. The taste was similar. It was very sweet and had a berry note to it. It could have passed easily as a black current Ribena juice if it wouldn’t have been a bit fizzy and the the bottle said it had 5 percent alcohol content. Not a nice drink and especially not when it’s hot.
