Meg is a far better dancer than any of the girls in Soi Cowboy
Today we visited the Bangkok snake farm, and although I am not a big fan of snakes, it was quite interesting. A lot of different species in cages and terrariums. We even got to see the daily snake show where snake handlers wrestled around with cobras and the girls could hold a large python. All this was followed by a trip to one of the many red light districts in Bangkok. Sad and amusing at the same time and the drinks weren’t cheap.
I ordered a shot of Thailand’s famous Sangsom whisky. To the surprise of our waitress, I ordered it pure without any Coke whatsoever. It was was brown clear and smelled sweet, slightly sour and spicy. The taste was sweet, a bit bitter with a cinnamon like note to it. All this was rounded up with a bit chemically taste. Kind of like a cheap version of Captain Morgan Rum. It probably would have been better to order it with Coke.
Nice meeting you guys! You’re both a little crazy but far from dull 🙂
Samsong was my stapple in Thailand, nothing like a couple of shots before going to bed. We’re a bit older so we like the booze in the comfort of home.

Nice meeting you too! 🙂 Samsong was okay, but it would definitely be better with a mixer! Our favourite out of the Thai whiskeys was actually ‘Blend 285’ http://www.u-strasse.com/365-drinks-273-blend-285-whisky-thailand/
