Valjevsko Pivo
Valjevsko Pivo

Sun, lake, beer… brilliant

Leaving Belgrade to head to the south-east of Serbia, Tara National Park as our destination. On our way we stopped in the beautiful town of Valjevsko. Walking upwards the powerful river that is passing through town passing several bars and cafes right on the river. After the long drive and the walking in the heat, we had to stop at one to get some refreshment. And what would better to have than the domestic lager from Valjevsko.

The beer was slightly darker than your usual lager and it had a malty aroma. The taste was slightly hoppy and bitter with an aftertaste similar to sparkling water which made it really refreshing and easy to drink. The refreshing character and good taste is a nice combination for a hot summer day.
