365 Drinks: #180 Syder Bay Reggae Cider (Thailand)

Syder Bay Reggae Cider

One in a long line of Thai girly drinks

After two days of working from home to get my laptop running again I was finally able to get out of the house. Me and Semi decided to hit up the city centre and check out a co-working space. After this we made our way to the top of the Marriot to have a drink at the sky bar with one of Semi’s friends from London. It is a nice bar and with two-for-one cocktails during happy hour also, affordable but unfortunately they didn’t have anything specifically Thai. So I had to pay a visit to the good ole 7-eleven just around the corner from our house.

And see there I found something, a Syder Bay Reggae Cider. Pretty good name. The clear brownish-orange drink smelled like a bathtub full of freshly pressed peaches. It tasted sour sweet like candy and reminded of some very intense peach ice tea, which also means that you couldn’t taste any alcohol. It was slightly fizzy which made it refreshing to drink but with only 3.5% it is one of the less-potent girly drinks. Overall not a bad tasting drink but the low alcohol percentage dragged it down.
