Sarajevo day 2! It seems like we are having better luck with the weather now. After walking around the city during the day with temperatures going up to 35 degrees Celsius we decided to postpone drinks to the evening hours. Rocked up at a bar and ordered some Hercegovenian red Vranac from the Mostar area.
The 12% wine was dark red and had a sweet smell, almost like mulled wine. It had an immediate sour taste and was not too fruity or sweet which made it quite refreshing and easy to drink. Much better than the Serbian red wines I had so far and definitely not the last red wine I will have here.
