Our third day in Sarajevo and we finally found our bar. The Tito cafe in Novi Sarajevo. It is situated right behind the history museum and has loads of old army vehicles that are free to climb. With that in mind, I had to order a rakija and get on them myself.
We ordered cherry rakija this time. It had an intense sweet smell and looked just delicious. It was not clear or yellow but red… different to the other rakijas we had so far. The taste was pretty good. It reminded me of the red water ice cream I always had when I was a kid. That also means that you can’t really taste the alcohol. Which means that it is probably not that strong (it didn’t have any label telling the alcohol content on the menu). Overall a surprisingly good drink but too sweet to have a lot.
