365 Drinks: #281 Minoh Pale Ale (Japan)

Minoh Pale Ale
Minoh Pale Ale

A seemingly unpretentious bar with craft beer prices to gouge out your wallet

We visited Craft Beer Works Kamikaze in Shinsaibashi and ordered a Minoh Pale Ale for my second drink today. A proper beer and compared to the Asahi Clear from earlier today, fucking expensive. I paid ¥750 ($6.10) for a half pint, but at least is was filled to the very top. The ale had a dark orange clear body and not much of a head. It had 5.5 percent alcohol and a very fruity IPA-like aroma. The taste was quite fruity as well and finished slightly bitter. The ale was quite easy to drink and not too intensely flavored. Pretty good.
