
A quick drink on Dotonbori before hoofing it to the airport
Ten days in Japan went by super fast. Today was already our last day and we had to leave for the airport in the early afternoon. So I used my last opportunity to try a can of Suntory Kaku Highball. The can contained a 7 percent whiskey and soda mix that had quite a whiskey smell to it. It tasted pretty much as you would expect it, like sparkling water with a shot of whiskey. The taste lasted quite long and was after a while a bit too intense, especially because I (still) don’t like whiskey. Not my cup of tea but I had to try it since Japanese whiskeys are so highly rated.
