365 Drinks: #293 Olde English 800 (USA)

Olde English 800

Not my kind of adventure

America has so much more to offer than beer, so I got myself a malt liquor today. The super cheap, 7.5 percent Olde English “800”. Classy. It had a malty smell that (surprisingly) wasn’t really sweet but rather rustic. The taste was a bit bitter and very malty, but again not really sweet. It had some artificial flavours to it and just tasted cheap. Pretty bad, I think I should stick to beer.

Why do Americans put an ‘e’ at the end of so many words??
