365 Drinks: #311 Pyramid Indian Pale Lager (USA)

Pyramid Indian Pale Lager
Pyramid Indian Pale Lager

Looks like a craft beer, but is actually owned by a Costa Rican food and beverage conglomerate. Yay

We bought a couple boxes or beer, one of them a box of 15 bottles with five different types of beer in them for not much money. Pretty awesome. The first one I tried was the Pyramid Indian Pale Lager. It had a dark, golden brown cloudy body with a white creamy head, and a fruity IPA-like aroma. The taste was mildly fruity but also sweet and with a bitter hoppy-ness to it. It was more like an IPA than a lager, but still easy to drink, not too intensely flavoured, and not too bitter. The slightly higher alcohol content of 6 percent can’t really be tasted but it was definitely a plus. Not my first choice when it comes to beer but I would drink it again if somebody offered.
