After all the beer in recent days I decided to go wild and have a red wine for a change. A Bay Bridge American Cabernet Sauvignon from Livermore and Ripon California. The 12.5 percent wine had a dark red body and a very acidic smell with a woody aroma and hints of sap and cinnamon. It had a very heavy sour taste at the beginning that turned into a sweet smoother finish with a hint of cheap turpentine like flavour to it. Not a good wine but only $2.99!!
