American liquor stores these days just got so much to offer. Every time I visit is like a new day in Candyland. Today this Morning Glory Espresso Stout by the Old Dominion Brewery catched my eye. The 9 percent beer had a dark brown and slightly cloudy body with a small white head and quite a high carbonation for a stout. It smelled quite grainy and had hints of roasted malt aromas to it. The taste was sweet at the beginning, followed by quite an intense coffee flavour that finished in a slightly bitter long lasting coffee taste. Quite like the name said, it was a flavour-packed stout that was quite heavy to drink but still good to enjoy.
