A pale, easy going light Fabian

Day number four and we are still going strong. Apologies for two wine posts in a row.

Wine tasting in the vinoteca with the oldest wine grape vine alive (according to the Guinness book of world records) just growing in the front. The tasting was pretty cheap and they had some good wines to choose from. But as soon as I saw this beauty, I knew I had to try it.

Fabijan Ranina. Finest white wine from the Maribor region in Slovenia. It had a pale, golden shiny look and a nice sweet smell. The lack of bitterness and the not too high alcohol concentration made pretty easy to drink, although I’m not too much of a white and sweet wine fan. So in total, a pale, quite nice and easy going light Fabian. Guess the name comes with a reputation.
