Trying not to stick out in the woods

The day begun with looking at some abandoned stuff. Old casino and a shipwreck in Romania. But since we want to go further east we made it back into to Bulgaria, riding along the Black Sea coast this time. Since it is still tourist season and the prices and beach resorts are just ridiculous, we decided to go camping. So we head to the nearest supermarket, buy some snausages and wine and off we go.

We found an interesting looking wine (and after googling it finding out it’s even one of the best reds to get in Bulgaria). A 2012 BiCycle Syrah and Viognier. The wine has a nice ruby red color and a delicious sweet spicy aroma. It tasted pretty fruity sour and just sweet enough to make it easy to drink. The aftertaste was quite sour and slightly bitter, which gave it an interesting touch. With 13% alcohol also not a lighweight. Overall a good wine. I think even the local poultry must have liked it because we were surrounded by quails all night.
