Aniseed, my arch enemy

It took us a while, but finally we got around to do some sightseeing in Istanbul. The usual stuff. The Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia and the Grand Bazaar. Nice but to be honest, not too impressed. Maybe we are a bit jaded by seeing everything online in an angle that makes things look amazing. But it was nice and sunny. Good day for a craft beer, so we thought. So off to another microbrewery we found in online. Unfortunately as we found out after a long walk, the information was old. So where to go? What to drink? I guess finally, finally… A raki.

Tekirdag Raki to be precise. It smelled like a mix between rubbing alcohol and liquorice and drinking it with ice and water made it look like cum. It had a more intense alcohol taste than I thought. The aniseed was more in the background. So a rubbing alcohol aniseed mix drink. But hey, the Turks love it.
